The upper age limit for appearing in the LDCE will be 40 years as on closing date of receipt of application i.e. 31/05/2023 i.e. candidate should not born before 01/06/1983. Candidates must have passed Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent Test from a board or university recognized by Central or State Government.

They should have completed five years of combined regular service in Constable and/or Head Constable Grade including basic training on the last date of application.

Note: Two or Three year Diploma Certificate in technical education done after 10th class will not be considered equivalent to intermediate (10+2).

1. Head Constable (Ministerial): The pay scale for Head Constable (Ministerial) is Level-4 (Rs. 25,500 – Rs. 81,100) of the pay matrix as per 7th CPC. 2. Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI): The pay scale for Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) is Level-5 (Rs. 29,200 – Rs. 92,300) of the pay matrix as per 7th CPC. In addition to the basic pay, candidates will be entitled to various allowances, such as Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Medical Allowance, etc.

The CRPF Head Constable (Ministerial) and ASI Recruitment 2023 selection process includes the following stages:

Written Examination – The candidates will have to appear for a written examination, which will test their knowledge of general awareness, reasoning ability, and language comprehension.

Skill Test – Dictation: 10 minutes@80 words per minute. Transcription time- 50 minutes in English or 65 minutes in Hindi on computer.

Physical Efficiency Test- The candidates who qualify in the written examination will have to appear for a physical efficiency test that includes running, long jump, and high jump.

Typing Test – The candidates who qualify in the physical efficiency test will have to appear for a typing test to test their typing speed.
