India Post GDS Eligibility Criteria 2023
(1) Matriculation (10th grade) or minimum secondary school graduation Pass in maths and English from any board of school education recognised by the Indian government, state governments and union territories (whether studied as required or optional subjects).
(2) The applicant must have studied the local language, i.e. (Name of Local Language), at least through the secondary level [as required or elective subjects].
(3) Additional Requirements: Computer literacy, cycling expertise, and adequate means of subsistence.
Post Office GDS 2023 Selection Process
The candidates’ online applications will be used to create an automatically created merit list that will be used for selection in accordance with the regulations. Higher educational qualifications will not be given any weight. The criteria for choosing the final candidate will only include marks earned in the 10th standard from approved Boards, aggregated to a percentage with an accuracy of four decimals. Candidate must pass all topics with the required grade in accordance with the authorised board standards in order to be taken into consideration for determining merit.
India Post GDS 2023 Application Fee
✔️ ₹ 100/- for General and OBC category candidates. The fee is to be paid by the applicants for all posts notified in the chosen Division.
✔️ The fee can be made through online only at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.
✔️ No fee for all female candidates, SC/ST candidates, PwD candidates and Transwomen candidates.
How to Apply India Post GDS Recruitment 2023
➢ The India Post GDS 2023 Online registration process started from 3rd August 2023.
➢ Eligible candidates who desires to apply online will have to register himself / herself in India Post GDS Online Portal (indiapostgdsonline.gov.in) with all basic details to obtain the Registration Number.
➢ Only one Registration is allowed for one candidate for schedule 1 & 2 in a calendar Year.
➢ The candidates are required to fill basic details (Mobile Number, Email, Date of Birth, Community etc.) and upload relevant documents.
➢ The last date for registration of online applications is 23/08/2023 (Wednesday).
