Eligibility Criteria –
Recruitment – Constable (GD) Sports Person
Age Limit – 18 t0 23 years (relaxation in age as per the relevant recruitment rule available in the notification). Upper age limit is relaxable for 5 years ot UR aspirants and addistions 5 years in case of SC/ST and OBC NCL by three years i.e. 5+3 years.
Educational Qualification – 10th (Matriculation) or its equivalent from a recognized board (State/National).

ITBP Constable Apply Online 2024
Sports Qualification – Players who participated or won medals in the level of competition discussed in the recruitment advertisement. Individual events (International and National), Team events (International or National).
First Preference – Those aspirants who have represented the country or won medals in order of priority i.e. Gold/Silver/Bronze in an international competition in senior junior or in youth categories with clearance of the Department of Youth Affairs or Government of India.
Second Preference – Candidates who represent and won medals or position up to third place in National Championship or games organized by the National Sports Federation or Indian Olympic Association.
ITBP GD Constable Selection Process
A matriculation certificate will be recognized as verification of the applicants’ age. Candidates must verify all eligibility requirements and have all necessary paperwork on available. Additionally, candidates without official academic or athletic records during the recruitment process may be disqualified or rejected.
Application Fee and Method of Payment: Male applicants from the UR, OC, and EWS categories who wish to be considered for a sports quota constable post must submit an application fee of Rs. 100. Female candidates and those who fall under the SC and ST categories are also excluded from the fee. Online applications are submitted via recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in with a fee. Any other method of fee payment for an application is regarded as refused.
Physical Standards –
Heights for Male Candidates (General) – 170 cm, Female Candidates (General) – 157 cm. Chest for Male candidates only (min 5 cm expansion is a must)
For Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dorgas, Marathsas, and candidates from Assam, HP, Kashmir region of UT of J&K & Ladakh. Height for male candidates is 165 cm and for female candidates 155 cm. Chest for male candidates 78 cm (min 5 cm expansion is a must)
