Admissions For Various Diploma & Certificate Courses Started at University of Kashmir

In view of some seats which remained vacant in below mentioned Diploma/Certificate Courses,
fresh on-line Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for admission to the below
mentioned Diploma/Certificate Courses offered through “Centre for Distance and Online
Education, University of Kashmir” for the academic session-2024. The candidates are advised
to peruse the Prospectus-2023/Admission Policy, available on University Website thoroughly
and check eligibility/other details before submitting their Application Forms:-

a) Diploma in Computer Applications (DCA);
b) Diploma in Web Designing (DWD);
c) Diploma in Cyber Law (DCL);
d) Diploma in Consumer Law and Practice (DCLP);
e) Diploma in Tourism Management (DTM);
f) Diploma in Business Administration (DBA);
g) Diploma in Business Entrepreneurship (DBE);
h) Diploma in Home Science (DHS);
i) Diploma in Urdu Journalism (DUJ);
j) Diploma in Urdu Translation (DUT);
k) Diploma in Pre-Primary Teachers Training (DPTT);
l) Certificate Course in Kashmiri (CCK);

Important dates:

Issuance of On-line Forms : 01-04-2024
Last date of submission of On-line Application Forms/Fee : 07-04-2024

Mode of Selection:

The selection of a candidate for the admission to the programme shall be strictly based on
the Academic Merit of the qualifying examinations. Admissions shall be governed by the
Admission Policy and relevant Statutes of University of Kashmir.

Submission of On-Line Application Forms:

  1. Visit the University of Kashmir website (https://www.kashmiruniversity.net/) and click on the “Admissions” link.
  2. Read the important instructions for registration and submission of the form carefully before proceeding further.
  3. Register yourself by clicking on “Register as Student”. Remember your username and password for future reference.
  4. Fill out the online application form and submit it along with the required fee.

Submission of downloaded Application Forms (Hard copy):

The candidates after submitting their On-Line Application Form need not to submit
hard copy and must keep Hard Copy of the Application Form with them for reference.
Fee Deposition and fee reconciliation shall be treated as Form submission.

Additional information:

The candidates must check the fee status of their Application Forms after three days
from the submission of on-line Application Form. In case, fee reconciliation is pending,
the candidate should contact the office of the Directorate of Admissions &
Competitive Examinations, University of Kashmir.
