RRB Technician Salary 2024:
Level 2 pay for railway technician posts is ₹19,900/-per month in initial pay plus any further allowances that may be granted.

Age Limit: The Railway Technician Posts Age Limit are
- Minimum 18 years
- Maximum 30 years
- The relaxation in upper age limit / maximum upper age is 03 years for OBC-NCL, 05 years for SC/ST, Plus 10 years for PwBD and others as per Govt rules.
Educational Qualification:
(1) Matriculation / SSLC plus ITI from recognized institutions of NCVT/SCVT in relevant trade. (OR)
(2) Matriculation / SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in relevant trade.

RRB Technician Selection Process 2024:
First Stage CBT: The Test No of Questions is 75 and Duration is One Hour. The Minimum percentage of marks for eligibility in various categories : UR -40%, OBC-30%, SC-30%, ST -25%. These percentage of marks for eligibility may be relaxed by 2% for PWD candidates in case of shortage of PWD candidates against vacancies reserved for them.
Second Stage CBT: Short listing of Candidates for the Second Stage CBT exam shall be based on the normalized marks obtained by them in the First Stage CBT Exam. The Second Stage CBT shall have two parts viz Part A (Duration: 90 Minutes, 100 Questions) and Part B (Duration: 60 Minutes, 75 Questions)

- A single online application must be filed by all eligible candidates starting in February 2024 through any Railway Recruitment Board (RRB).
- Candidates for RRB Technician 2024 must first use the provided link on the official RRB website to “Create an Account.”
- In order for the Candidates to get OTPs for account creation and verification, they need to have a working personal mobile number and a valid email address.
- Candidates should use any of the RRB portals to apply for RRB Technicians 2024 after making an account.
- The candidates must upload scanned copies of their passport photos, signatures, and other necessary paperwork.
- March–April 2024 is the deadline for submitting the online application.
